The backstory
AWA was born as people began gathering again, at a time
when social connection felt fragile.
After more than fifteen years in film production, events, and
artistic interventions, we brought our networks together
around experiences where art, play, storytelling, and
interaction became tools for connection.
This approach took shape through five editions of
a private festival, a testing ground for
identifying and refining the conditions that
encourage encounters, curiosity, engagement,
and a sense of belonging.
